Job summary

BEO Software Pvt Ltd invites an experienced Android developer to join our team in delivering high-performance native apps. You will design and implement features using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and MVVM clean architecture, while integrating RESTful services with Retrofit and Moshi.

You will work closely with design, QA, and iOS teams, write automated tests, adhere to Material Design guidelines, and participate in Kanban-based Agile processes to continuously improve our products.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of Android app development experience.
• Proficient in Kotlin, Android Jetpack, and Android Studio.
• Experience with Retrofit 3 and Moshi for REST APIs.
• Experience with Google Material Design guidelines.
• Experience writing automated tests (JUnit, MockK, Robolectric, Roborazzi, Turbine, Truth).
• Experience with MVVM multi-module Clean Architecture for Android apps.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Developing new—and enhancing existing—user-centric, scalable, and high-performance native Android applications
• Utilizing Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines/Flows, Jetpack Compose, Material 3, Paging 3, Navigation 3, Hilt, Retrofit 3/Moshi, and DataStore
• Using GitLab CI as a continuous integration tool to ensure code quality
• Collaborating closely with the design, QA, and iOS teams
• Ensuring quality through unit, screenshot, and integration tests, as well as Android Lint, Detekt, and Compose Lint
• Continuously improving our products by incorporating trends and innovations
• Documenting planning and implementation processes in Jira and Confluence
• Agile development using Kanban

Desired Candidate Profile

• At least four years of professional experience in Android app development
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin, Android Jetpack, and Android development tools, as well as expert-level use of Android Studio
• Confident handling of JSON RESTful web services via Retrofit 3 & Moshi
• Experience with Google Material Design guidelines
• Experience writing automated tests (JUnit, MockK, Robolectric, Roborazzi, Turbine, Truth)
• Experience with MVVM multi-module Clean Architecture for Android apps
• Strong problem-solving skills, enabling you to resolve issues using your technical expertise independently and successfully
• Interest in the latest trends and innovations in app development
• Fluent written and spoken English
