The Analytics Manager – Marketing will help Lakshya build a more data-driven and efficient Marketing function .
The initial focus of the role will be on understanding existing Marketing processes, establishing reliable reporting, identifying inefficiencies and improving the way the team works.
Once this foundation is established, the role will expand into content analytics, performance marketing analytics and funnel analysis , helping the team understand what is working and where improvements can be made.
The role is not simply about creating reports. The individual should be able to understand a problem, find the relevant data, identify the insight and help the team act on it.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations & Process Analytics — Primary
- Understand and map key Marketing processes.
- Identify bottlenecks, delays, duplication and manual work.
- Establish clear KPIs and reporting systems.
- Improve data quality and consistency.
- Build useful dashboards and reports.
- Identify opportunities for automation.
- Work with teams to implement process improvements.
- Measure whether improvements are actually delivering results.
The goal: Make Marketing more organised, measurable and efficient. 2. Content Analytics
- Analyse the performance of Lakshya's content across platforms.
- Identify themes, formats and creative approaches that perform well.
- Analyse engagement, reach, watch time, retention, shares and saves.
- Understand differences across audiences, courses and platforms.
- Give the Content team clear insights on what to do more of, less of and differently.
- Build a continuous feedback loop between content performance and content planning.
3. Performance Marketing Analytics
- Analyse Meta, Google, YouTube and other paid campaigns.
- Track CPL, CAC, conversion and other relevant metrics.
- Analyse campaign, audience, creative, course and geography performance.
- Evaluate lead quality , not just lead quantity.
- Identify high- and low-performing campaigns.
- Support budget allocation and campaign optimisation.
- Where possible, connect marketing spend to actual admissions.
4. Funnel & Admissions Analytics
As the data foundation develops:
- Analyse the journey from Lead → Contact → Counselling → Admission .
- Identify where prospects are being lost.
- Analyse conversion by source, course, branch and geography.
- Identify reasons for drop-offs.
- Work with Marketing and Admissions to improve conversion.
- Measure the impact of changes made.

- Improvement in operational efficiency.
- Reduction in manual reporting and repetitive work.
- Improvement in data accuracy and reporting reliability.
- Adoption of dashboards and standardised reporting.
- Number and impact of process improvements/automations.
- Quality of insights provided to Marketing.

Technical Skills
Must have
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets

Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience in Business Analytics, Operations Analytics, Business Intelligence, Process Improvement, Marketing Analytics or related fields.
- Experience working with multiple teams will be an advantage.
- Experience in a high-volume consumer/service environment will be an advantage.
