Overview
Analytics Manager, Business and Marketing at Headout. This is a leadership role focused on shaping the growth function by turning data into strategic insights that support global expansion. You will lead the Business & Marketing data functions, partner with the executive team, and own the data narrative driving multi-million dollar marketing investments and market entry strategies.
This role is about defining the questions we should be asking, not just answering them. You will build and scale a world-class analytics team and influence senior leadership decisions that impact the company’s growth and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Own the Strategic Narrative: Lead the end-to-end analytical roadmap for Growth and Marketing, translate complex datasets into clear narratives, and present findings to senior leadership to influence P&L and strategic direction.
- Partner with Leadership: Serve as a dedicated strategic partner across Marketing, Business, and Operations, providing insights that shape budgeting, channel optimization, and international growth.
- Build and Mentor a World-Class Team: Hire, manage, and develop a team of data analysts, cultivating a culture of excellence, curiosity, and impact.
- Drive Business Impact: Design and analyze A/B tests, build attribution models, and create frameworks to measure ROI of growth initiatives, ensuring impact and efficiency.
Qualifications
- A Leader and Influencer: Demonstrated experience managing and mentoring analysts, with the ability to partner with and influence senior stakeholders (Director, VP level).
- Strong Commercial Acumen: Ability to connect data points to financial outcomes and articulate the business impact of analyses.
- Deep Domain Expertise: Experience with digital marketing and business analytics, including performance channels (Paid Search, SEO, Affiliates, CRM) and modeling drivers like LTV and CAC.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced SQL for complex analysis; scripting in Python or R for modeling; experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau) and data warehousing concepts.
- A Pragmatic and Strategic Mindset: Analytical, creative thinker who navigates ambiguity with a bias for action and trade-offs between speed, depth, and accuracy.
