Job summary

Owens & Minor is seeking an experienced SAP WM Consultant to support warehouse management operations, enhancements, and project initiatives across distribution and manufacturing environments.

The candidate will work with business users and IT teams to maintain and improve SAP WM processes, including inbound, outbound, and internal movements. Flexibility to align with global teams and support US hours is preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on SAP WM experience.
• Expertise in Production Staging / PSA replenishment / line-side material supply processes.
• Hands-on experience in SAP RF transactions / mobile warehouse execution.
• Strong knowledge of SAP WM processes: Goods Receipt, Putaway, Picking, Transfer Orders, Physical Inventory, Posting Changes, Storage Bin Management.
• Experience in integration with MM, SD, and LE; in support, enhancements, and incident management.
• Ability to troubleshoot functional issues and communicate with global teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional support for SAP WM production and warehouse operations.
• Manage and optimize production staging / PSA replenishment / line-side material supply.
• Support RF-based warehouse transactions for picking, putaway, replenishment, staging, and inventory movements.
• Configure and support core SAP WM processes across inbound, outbound, and internal movements.
• Handle transfer orders, picking, packing, replenishment, bin-to-bin transfers, and physical inventory.
• Support warehouse execution integrated with Logistics Execution (LE) shipping and delivery processes.
• Work closely with MM, SD, PP, and LE teams for end-to-end process alignment.
• Perform issue resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support testing, user training, cutover, and go-live activities.
• Coordinate with global teams and business stakeholders for production support.

Position Summary

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, manufacturing, or distribution industries.
• Experience supporting US business hours is preferred.
• Knowledge of interfaces / IDOCs is an advantage.
• Exposure to SAP warehouse transformation projects is a plus.
• Experience in SAP EWM will be considered an added advantage.

Work Timings

• Candidate should be flexible to support overlap with US EST time zone as needed.
