POSITION SUMMARY

The SAP System Analyst, SAP ABAP SAP Language Developer is responsible for facilitating the delivery and support of the development portion of projects/programs within specified functional area(s). Coordinates and takes the lead role for the technical/functional development and support of IT applications in his/her area of responsibility. Coordinates development aspects including reports, interfaces, conversion programs, database design and creation, enhancements. May also include SAP Portal development, ABAP, SAP UI5/Fiori, and JAVA web-Dynpro. Provides accurate estimates based on design documents, including data mapping, and interface models.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Collaborates closely with the business to understand business requirements.
• Performs planning, analysis, designing, requirements definition, functional design, development, testing and implementation of IT solutions.
• Provides support for difficult and complex system environments.
• Provides support, assistance, and training to users.
• Drives small to medium sized projects with planning, development, and implementation of system solutions.
• Simultaneously coordinates activities for multiple projects and activities.
• Effectively uses ITIL methodology in performing all tasks.
• Meets with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve business systems issues.
• Ensures compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systems.
• Reviews and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
• Creates systems models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to application developers.
• Coordinates and performs in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems.
• conducts research on software products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Operations Supervisor.

Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• BA/BS in Information Technology or Computer Science or the equivalent of 8 years professional experience in IT Applications development and support.
• Experience with SAP ABAP Language Development
• Experience within a manufacturing/distribution environment in an IT development capacity
• Familiar with a variety of sales methodologies, tools, and frameworks from multiple industries / businesses.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in planning, analysis, design, testing, implementation, documenting and training of IT applications.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in SAP support.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience working in a customer service orientated environment.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Maximum 8 years of OO ABAP, ALV Reports, SAP Data Dictionary, BADI & BAPIS, Workflows. Module Pool Programming (Dialogue Programming). Enhancements (Implicit & Explicit) Exits (User Exit, Customer Exit, Screen Exit) development experience in a complex landscape
• Maximum 8 years of development experience of ABAP RICEF objects
• Minimum 2 years of development experience in S/4 HANA
• Strong knowledge and working experience AMDP, CDS, BRF, BOPF, oDATA and HANA proxy objects Experience in SAP Fiori/UI5 is advantageous.
• High energy, self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with diverse remote teams, managing through a matrix structure, and will require strong analytical skills, process & project management, combined with well-developed team leadership and influencing skills.
• Agile methodology experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including preparation and delivery of executive-level presentations
• Proven analytical, problem-solving and process management skills
• Demonstrated tendency to challenge the status quo and drive constant improvement in process and ability to achieve organizational goals

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
