Flextronics - The Flex Company in Pune, India, is seeking a Senior Analyst – Procurement to support fast-paced purchasing and supplier coordination. You will issue POs, track deliveries, and help maintain inventory targets while delivering accurate procurement analytics.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s or Engineering degree with 3–5 years in procurement or supply chain, strong MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint skills, experience with BAAN ERP, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Engineering.
• 3–5 years procurement/supply chain experience.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in procurement end-to-end and order management.
• Knowledge of BAAN ERP.
• Electronics manufacturing exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Issue POs to vendors and follow up for order confirmation and on-time payment to suppliers.
• Coordinate with vendors for delivery status of materials.
• Prepare open PO and shortage reports for review.
• Execute core procurement processes efficiently for assigned products.
• Meet or exceed service levels and inventory targets for assigned products.
• Coordinate PO changes with requestors and suppliers.
• Select suppliers for new orders per purchasing strategies.
• Manage supplier database and identify procurement improvements.

A purchasing professional who can quickly and accurately process purchase orders in a fast-paced environment. Has excellent stake holders service skills and works well in a team to consistently meet challenging performance targets. **What a typical day looks like:** • Timely issuance of POs to Vendors, follow-up for order confirmation and co-ordination for on time payment to suppliers • Coordinating with vendors for actual delivery status of material • On time completion of Open Purchase Order Report and Shortage Report for review • To execute core procurement processes efficiently and accurately for assigned products • To meet or exceed desired service levels and inventory targets as defined for the products assigned, validated through procurement metrics • Coordinate with Internal Business Partner (requestor) and Supplier for Purchase Order Changes • Select supplier for placing new orders in accordance with approved Purchasing strategies • Managing supplier's database • To identify, recommend, and implement operational efficiencies to drive continuous improvement in the execution of procurement processes • Perform root cause analysis to expedite the resolution of service issues • Prepare Customized reports for analyzing and incorporating improvements in processes • Should we include shortage/excess escalation management, co-ordinate and follow thru on urgent receive, past dues management and receiving challenge resolution **The experience we’re looking to add to our team:** • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Engineering Graduates • Experience: 3-5yrs.
