Job summary

Franklin Templeton is seeking a Trade Operations professional in Hyderabad to lead OTC/ETD trade confirmations, manage margin deadlines, and coordinate with Front and Middle Office on collateral optimization. The role oversees fails management and lifecycle events and ensures regulatory/commercial compliance across all trades.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in financial services, with proficiency in trading systems and Power BI/Power Apps/Power Automate to support operations.

• Derivatives Trade Confirmation (OTC and ETD): Lead trade confirmations for OTC and ETD, ensuring compliance with trading agreements and regulatory standards.

• You will collaborate with Front and Middle Office teams on ETD trade confirmations and collateral selection and optimization.
• Fails Management: Oversee the management of fails related to derivatives transactions, resolving issues promptly to minimize risk and operational impact.
• You will ensure all trades meet regulatory and contractual requirements.
• You will manage lifecycle events such as resets, expirations, and terminations.
• You will resolve discrepancies in OTC and digital asset transactions.
• You will oversee reconciliation of positions and collateral for OTC and ETD.

About The Department

• The Investment & Trade Client Services team supports the company’s trading activities by ensuring accurate derivatives confirmations, lifecycle event management, and settlement processing. The team works closely with trading, operations, and external counterparties to maintain high-quality client service. Joining this group provides exposure to dynamic financial markets, collaborative problem-solving, and opportunities to deepen technical and market expertise.

How you will add value?

Experience, Education & Certifications

• 2–4 years in financial services, ideally within derivatives or trade operations.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency with Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
• Familiarity with industry trading or settlement systems.

Soft Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
• Flexibility to work in shift-based schedules.
• Strong understanding of market operations and willingness to adapt to change.

Work Shift Timing - 6:30 PM - 3:30 AM IST / 8:30 PM - 5:30 AM IST
