Job summary

Oxane Partners Limited in Gurgaon is seeking a Senior Analyst – FP&A to support budgets, forecasts and management reporting across cross-functional teams.

You will develop financial models, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses, ensuring accuracy, alignment with accounting principles, and timely delivery of monthly and quarterly FP&A outputs. Collaborate with business teams to capture drivers and drive process improvements and automation of reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Advanced Excel including lookups and pivots, plus MS PowerPoint and Word.
• Analytical mindset to interpret financial data and identify trends.
• Understanding of financial statements, accruals, variance analysis and management reporting.
• Ability to present insights clearly to finance and business stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with reliable meeting of recurring reporting timelines.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfort working in a growing FP&A setup with evolving processes.
• Exposure to Power BI, ERP systems or automation tools is a plus.

Job Description

Senior Analyst – FP&A will assist in preparing budgets and forecasts, perform variance analysis of actuals versus plan, and support in financial performance reviews. The role focuses on analysing trends, providing actionable insights, supporting planning and decision-making processes while working closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparation of annual budgets, periodic forecasts and recurring FP&A schedules.
• Perform actuals vs. budget/forecast variance analysis and highlight key drivers with supporting data.
• Assist in preparing monthly reports, dashboards and presentations for management review.
• Assist in developing and maintaining financial models, and ad-hoc analysis files.
• Collaborate with business teams to gather inputs, understand business drivers, validate assumptions and reconcile data.
• Contribute to process improvement, automation and standardisation of FP&A reporting, dashboards and planning templates.
• Ensure accuracy of FP&A outputs and alignment with accounting principles, internal controls and financial reporting requirements.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Advanced Excel, including lookups, logical formulas, pivot tables, and advanced analytical functions, along with strong working knowledge of MS PowerPoint and MS Word.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial and operational data, identify trends, and highlight key business drivers.
• Good understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, accruals, variance analysis and management reporting.
• Ability to prepare clear reports and present financial insights concisely to finance and business stakeholders.
• High attention to detail, ownership mindset, process orientation and ability to manage recurring reporting timelines with accuracy.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Candidate should be comfortable working in a growing FP&A setup with evolving processes and high expectations on accuracy and turnaround time.
• Exposure to Power BI, ERP systems, or automation tools will be an added advantage.
