Job summary

Golden Opportunities in Mumbai/Pune invites applications for a Senior Analyst - Finance. This hybrid role focuses on period-end accounting, preparing financial statements, and supporting divisional Finance managers with accurate reporting and timely closes.

You will perform amortization/prepayment schedules, balance sheet reviews, variance analyses, payroll checks, and post journals. The ideal candidate has 2–6 years in finance, CA/CMA qualifications or ongoing, and strong collaborative skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Finance, CA/CMA qualification.
• Minimum 2-6 years of experience in finance domain.
• Experience with period-end accounting processes and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of balance sheet reconciliations and journal posting.
• Ability to prepare amortization and prepayment schedules.
• Experience in monthly/yearly closing activities.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process and execute the period-end accounting reports to support divisional / BU Finance managers.
• Assist and prepare various financial statements and management reports according to legal and company guidelines.
• Work closely with the team in preparation of monthly/yearly closing.
• Preparation of Amortization & Prepayment Schedules.
• Perform Balance Sheet reviews, variance analysis and payroll analysis.
• Participate in onshore review calls and provide commentaries on balance sheet & P&L items.
• Calculation of Work in Progress & Deferred Income, post journals, reconciliation of Balance sheet accounts, payroll.
• Review and analyze information from the general ledger and other accounting records to ensure accuracy and completeness, undertake GL reconciliations, and take corrective action.
• Work with BU Accountant/ Finance Controller/Finance Manager to prepare and submit inputs for weekly, bi-monthly & month end reports.
• Reviews with Business Leads for Forecasting revenue and costs.
