Job summary

Sandoz Telangana seeks a Senior Analyst, Business Analytics to provide independent analytical and strategic decision support to commercial and marketing teams. You will interpret complex data and generate insights that influence brand performance and market dynamics across therapeutic areas.

You will develop dashboards, perform ROI analyses, and present findings to senior leaders, using PowerBI, Tableau, and related tools to enable data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in pharmaceutical commercial analytics and knowledge of European markets.
• Strong analytical skills with data analysis and statistics.
• Familiarity with datasets like IQVIA, Evaluate Pharma, IPD, Clarivate DRG.
• Advanced MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint); VBA a plus.
• Experience building dashboards in PowerBI/Tableau/Qlik Sense; Alteryx/Databricks a plus.
• Ability to lead multiple projects and influence decision-making.

The role supports senior leadership, Investor Relations, and Corporate Strategy by delivering robust insights on biosimilar assets, LoE opportunities, market dynamics, and financial business cases. Acting as a trusted analytics partner, the role ensures consistency, rigor, and strategic relevance of analytical outputs across key governance forums.

Position Purpose

The Senior Analyst, Business Analytics role exists to provide independent analytical and strategic decision support to commercial and marketing stakeholders. The position focuses on interpretation of complex data and generation of insights that influence business outcomes across brands and therapeutic areas.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Data analytics on small and large data sets to monitor performance, routine reporting against KPIs and ad-hoc analytic projects to answer key business questions
• Performance measurement and monitoring, ROI analysis and optimization, competitors analytics, etc.
• Focus on critical business questions, define approach and methodology and summarize the findings in an effective and compelling manner using tools like PowerPoint
• Understand the business needs and explore new techniques and innovative data assets and drive standardization
• Processes, automation, streamline and standardization of KPIs and reports across markets
• Serve as an interface with the region, local markets and centralized hubs on Project Planning and delivery management through proven analytics-based projects
• Drive governance of centralized hub to ensure that all mandatory tasks are addressed, capacity is maximized, new demands are prioritized as needed and onboarding of new associates
• Prepare compelling reports and presentations that transform complex data into actionable business insights, offering strategic options for countries and above countries leadership team.

What you will bring to the role

Essential Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in pharmaceutical commercial analytics and have good knowledge of pharmaceutical business in European markets
• Superior analytical skills with proficiency in a broad range technique including data analysis and statistics
• Good understanding of Pharmaceutical Commercial datasets like IQVIA, Evaluate Pharma, IPD, Clarivate DRG etc.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint); VBA proficiency is a plus
• Experience of developing and managing dashboards using PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik Sense; working knowledge of Alteryx, Databricks is a plus
• Ability to lead multiple projects and priorities and respond to changing priorities; able to work well independently as well as part of a broad team
• Ability to engage stakeholders and influence decision-making
