Job description

One of our clients, a leading global energy and low-carbon solutions organization, is looking to hire a Senior AI Engineer to build and deliver production-grade, AI-powered applications. The role offers the opportunity to work on full-stack AI products, leverage cutting-edge AI-assisted development tools, and drive end-to-end engineering delivery within a global technology environment.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end development of AI-powered features and services, from scoping and architecture through deployment and production support.

Build, review, and ship high-quality code, making pragmatic technical decisions to deliver reliable and scalable applications.

Integrate AI/ML models, LLMs, RAG architectures, AI agents, and model APIs into production applications.

Use AI-assisted coding and agentic development tools as primary development methods to accelerate delivery and improve engineering quality.

Drive rapid prototyping and iterative development, balancing delivery speed with testing, observability, security, and maintainability.

Collaborate with Product, Architecture, DevOps, QA, and platform teams to translate business requirements into reliable software solutions.

Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing while communicating technical decisions, risks, and trade-offs to stakeholders.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience building and delivering full-stack applications in production environments.

Strong hands‑on experience integrating AI/ML models into real-world products, including LLMs, RAG, AI agents, or ML pipelines.

Solid understanding of AI architecture and the integration of application code, data, and AI models.

Practical experience using AI-assisted coding tools, AI pair programming, or agentic coding workflows.

Proficiency in several technologies across .NET, Python, Java, and React, with the ability to adapt quickly to new technology stacks.

Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP.

Strong understanding of software testing, security, observability, maintainability, and production deployment.

Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills, with the ability to take ownership of ambiguous problems and mentor other engineers.
