Job summary

Rumor is recruiting for a Senior Full Stack AI Engineer to join the Wurknow project. You will build the AI agent backend with Python and FastAPI, work with LLMs and tool calls, and design scalable data stores.

You will also develop UI with React and TypeScript, integrate with internal APIs, and mentor 1–3 developers while contributing to architecture decisions. Strong English communication is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• 1–2+ years building and supporting AI/LLM features in production.
• Strong experience with Python and backend API development.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, database design, SQL, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Good experience with React and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of LLMs, prompt design, tool/function calling, retries, rate limits, and handling incorrect AI responses.
• Experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot.
• Experience leading or mentoring developers while continuing to code hands-on.
• Experience supporting production applications, including monitoring, incident handling, and root‑cause analysis.
• Good written and spoken English.
