Senior Aesthetic Physician Multi-Clinic

Primary Locations: Lokhandwala, Santacruz West & Powai, Mumbai
Role: Multi-Clinic
Employment: Full-Time

Qualification: NMC-recognised MBBS / higher medical qualification valid for practice in India; eligible MDS Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery candidates may also be considered

We are looking for an experienced and clinically confident Senior Aesthetic Physician to provide aesthetic consultations, design comprehensive treatment plans and independently perform injectable treatments across our clinics, primarily in Lokhandwala, Santacruz West and Powai.

The role goes beyond injectables. The doctor should assess patients holistically, recommend appropriate in-clinic treatments and homecare, prescribe medication where clinically indicated, provide follow-up care, manage complications, and guide and train other doctors.

We value clinical judgment, natural aesthetic outcomes, patient safety, communication and ownership more than titles alone.

Key Responsibilities

Aesthetic Consultations & Treatment Planning

• Conduct comprehensive aesthetic consultations including relevant medical history, examination, facial/skin assessment and understanding of patient concerns and expectations.
• Design personalised treatment plans combining injectables, skin treatments, energy-based/device treatments and appropriate homecare, within the doctor's competence and clinic protocols.
• Explain options, realistic outcomes, limitations, downtime, risks, alternatives and treatment sequencing clearly.
• Prescribe appropriate medicines and medical skincare where clinically indicated and within the doctor's legal scope of practice.
• Review progress, modify treatment plans where required and maintain continuity of care.

Injectable Treatments

• Independently assess, plan and perform botulinum toxin, dermal fillers, skin boosters/bioremodellers and other approved injectable aesthetic treatments within demonstrated competence.
• Apply strong knowledge of facial anatomy, ageing, proportions and tissue changes to achieve safe, balanced and natural-looking outcomes.
• Demonstrate appropriate patient selection and the confidence to decline, defer or modify treatment when it is not clinically appropriate.
• Maintain high standards of asepsis, consent, documentation, photography and post-treatment instructions.

Patient Safety, Follow-up & Complications

• Recognise, assess and appropriately manage injectable complications and adverse events, including prompt escalation/referral when required.
• Remain responsible for appropriate follow-up and continuity of care for patients treated, even when rostered at another clinic.
• Respond promptly to post-procedure concerns and keep patients and relevant internal stakeholders appropriately informed until clinical issues are resolved.
• Follow clinic emergency, complication-management, documentation and escalation protocols.

Clinical Leadership & Training

• Guide and mentor other doctors in aesthetic consultation, treatment planning, injectables and patient management according to demonstrated expertise.
• Support development and standardisation of clinical protocols, treatment pathways, consent processes and complication-management guidelines.
• Participate in case discussions, clinical reviews and training on new products, technologies and techniques.
• Promote consistent, ethical and evidence-informed clinical standards across locations.

Multi-Clinic Responsibilities

• Work according to a multi-clinic roster, predominantly across Lokhandwala, Santacruz West and Powai, based on patient demand and operational requirements.
• Be comfortable travelling between clinics and, where reasonably required, supporting other Mumbai locations.
• Coordinate effectively with other doctors, therapists, Clinic Managers and central teams to provide seamless patient care across locations.

The Doctor We Are Looking For

• Clinically confident but without ego; collaborative and receptive to protocols, peer discussion and continued learning.
• Strong aesthetic judgment with a preference for proportionate, natural-looking outcomes rather than unnecessary treatment.
• Excellent consultation, communication and bedside manner.
• Patient-safety focused and commercially aware without allowing commercial considerations to override clinical judgment.
• This is not a sales or target-driven clinical role. Treatment recommendations must be based on the patient's clinical needs, aesthetic goals and best interests. The doctor is expected to confidently recommend appropriate and comprehensive treatment plans, but should never recommend unnecessary treatment or allow commercial considerations to influence clinical judgment.
• High ownership, particularly regarding follow-up, complications and difficult patient situations.
• Dependable, professional and comfortable working within a multi-clinic team structure.
• Capable of teaching and guiding junior or less-experienced doctors.

Mandatory Qualifications & Registration

• MBBS or higher medical qualification recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and valid for practice in India, together with valid and current registration with the appropriate Medical Council / National Medical Register, as applicable.
• Any postgraduate medical qualification relied upon for eligibility or use of a specialist designation must be NMC-recognised / recognised for practice in India, as applicable.
• Candidates with foreign medical qualifications must have completed all recognition, licensing and registration requirements applicable in India and must be legally entitled to practise modern medicine in India.
• Alternatively, an appropriately qualified MDS in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery recognised under the applicable Indian dental regulatory framework, with valid State Dental Council registration, appropriate training and demonstrated experience in facial aesthetic procedures, may be considered.
• General BDS/MDS qualifications outside Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery are not being considered for this role.

Experience

• Substantial hands-on experience independently performing aesthetic injectables is essential.
• Strong experience with botulinum toxin, dermal fillers, skin boosters/bioremodellers and related facial aesthetic treatments.
• Ability to independently conduct aesthetic consultations and create comprehensive treatment plans, rather than only execute pre-decided procedures.
• Demonstrated knowledge of complication recognition, immediate management, follow-up and appropriate referral/escalation.
• Actual clinical skill, case volume, aesthetic judgment, patient communication and safety mindset will carry significant weight in selection.
• Recognised postgraduate qualifications in Dermatology or Plastic Surgery are desirable but not mandatory where the candidate otherwise meets the legal eligibility requirements and demonstrates strong aesthetic experience.

Employment, Working Hours & Exclusivity

• This is a full-time, exclusive role. The doctor may not undertake outside clinical/aesthetic practice, private consulting or other competing clinical engagements during employment, subject to the terms of the employment contract.
• The role is 6 days per week, with one weekly off generally falling on a weekday as weekends are important operating days for the clinics.
• Working hours will generally be approximately 89 hours per day, with the roster and clinic location determined according to patient appointments and operational requirements.
• Reasonable flexibility is expected where patient care, follow-up, complications or other clinical requirements need attention beyond the scheduled working hours.
• The doctor will work on a multi-clinic roster, primarily across Lokhandwala, Santacruz West and Powai, and should be comfortable travelling between locations.

Patients receive thoughtful, ethical and comprehensive aesthetic care rather than isolated procedures. Treatment plans are appropriate and well explained; injectable outcomes are safe and natural; documentation and follow-up are strong; complications or concerns are owned and managed appropriately; and the doctor contributes positively to the clinical standards and development of the wider medical team.
