EY GDS Life Actuarial Practice is seeking a Senior to join our Managed Services team in Life Insurance. You will work with a team of collaborators and senior leaders to deliver actuarial solutions to leading clients within EY's global network.

The role involves valuation, reporting and modelling in life actuarial functions, collaborating across staff, managers and partners, and contributing to building a high-performing team with a learning mindset.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in valuation / reporting / pricing or modelling in life actuarial teams.
• Strong analytical abilities and problem solving in models and reporting.
• Willingness to learn and apply learning in project work; MS-Office, Power BI, SAS, R, Python, SQL helpful.

• We are looking for a Senior to join our Life Insurance Managed Services Actuarial Practice delivering solutions to the leading clients in Insurance Sector, working closely with other Staff/Assistants, Consultants/Seniors, Managers, Senior Managers or Client partners in EYs global network of insurance sector and consulting professionals.
• You can expect to work along with senior managers/directors to support large scale engagements and deliver high-quality client solutions.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 3-6 years of experience in valuation / reporting / pricing or modelling function in life actuarial team of an insurance / consulting / outsourcing company
• Good analytical skills
• Ability to do investigations in models / reporting process and independently solve problems
• Willingness to learn and apply learning actively in project work Proficiency in MS-Office Suite, Power BI, VBA, SAS, R Programming, Python, SQL, SPSS, etc., will be a plus

Ideally, youll also have

• Good actuarial exam progress
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for report writing, industry studies and stakeholder presentations
• The ability to build relationships with colleagues across the business, support them and promote a collaborative environment
• Overseas exposure (especially Australia/UK/US/Europe market experience)
