Job summary

Adorn Infra Energy in Varanasi seeks an experienced accountant to oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger, AP/AR, and bank reconciliations. The role requires preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and leading month-end and year-end closings.

You will monitor cash flow, expenses, revenue and balance sheet accounts, prepare budgets and forecasts, and coordinate tax filings, regulatory submissions, and audits.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing activities with established deadlines.
• Review journal entries, accounts reconciliation and supporting documentation.
• Monitor cash flow, expenses, revenue and balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and variance analyses for management.
• Coordinate tax filings, statutory reporting and regulatory submissions.
• Support internal and external audits and resolve audit queries.
• Maintain fixed asset records and calculate depreciation.
