Job summary

Mettle Energy Limited invites applications for an accounts professional to manage day-to-day voucher entries and payables. The role covers invoice matching, GST compliance, and ledger reconciliations in a manufacturing setup.

The candidate should have 3-7 years of experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with GST, TDS, and e-invoicing. Gujarati, Hindi and English are preferred language skills, with CA Inter or CMA Inter as an advantage.

• Familiar with TDS, e-invoicing and import/payment workflows.

Responsibilities

• Process day-to-day voucher entries (purchase, sales, journal, bank, cash, expenses).
• Perform three-way match of invoices with PO/GRN including GST and HSN verification.
• Maintain payables ledger, ageing and payment schedules.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Day-to-day entries across purchase, sales, journal, bank, cash and expense voucher
• Bill passing three-way match of invoice against PO and GRN, with rate, quantity, GST and HSN verification.
• Payables ledger, ageing and payment schedules.
• Vendor and customer ledger reconciliation, including advances and debit/credit notes.
• Banking payments, receipts, daily bank reconciliation, and import payment and LC documentation.
• Fixed asset register upkeep.
• Coordination with the CA, CS and consultants on statutory, EPCG and DGFT matters, and audit schedules on request.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 3 - 7 years in accounts, preferably in manufacturing.
• Advanced Excel.
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS and e-invoicing.
• Exposure to import payments, LC documentation and EPCG is an advantage.
• B.Com/M.Com; CA Inter or CMA Inter preferred. Gujarati, Hindi and English.
