Job summary

Devender & Co is a Hyderabad-based Chartered Accountancy firm seeking a Senior Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements. The role is on-site, full-time, and involves supporting audits, tax filings, and compliance activities for diverse clients.

You will coordinate with clients and internal teams to resolve queries, prepare MIS reports and budget analyses, maintain accurate records, and ensure timely closings.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills including general ledger management.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, income tax provisions, and statutory requirements.
• Experience supporting audits and coordinating during internal and statutory audits.
• Proficient in Tally or similar ERP systems and MS Excel.
• Ability to prepare MIS reports, variance analyses and financial summaries.
• Strong communication and collaboration to interact with clients and stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance; professional CA/CMA qualifications preferred.
• Prior experience in CA firm and end-to-end accounts handling; beneficial.

Role Description

The Senior Accounts Executive will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, ledger scrutiny, bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, and preparation of financial statements. The role involves supporting statutory audits, tax filings, and compliance activities, as well as assisting in preparing MIS reports, budget analyses, and financial summaries for internal and client use. The Senior Accounts Executive will coordinate with internal teams and clients to resolve accounting queries, ensure timely closures, and maintain accurate documentation and records. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, requiring regular collaboration with partners and team members to support client engagements and firm processes.

• Candidates should possess skills in taxation and compliance, such as understanding of GST, TDS, income tax provisions, and statutory regulatory requirements.
• Candidates should possess audit and assurance-related skills, including supporting audit schedules, documentation, and coordination during internal and statutory audits.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software and tools, such as Tally or similar ERP systems, MS Excel, and other relevant financial applications.
• Candidates should possess analytical and reporting skills, including the ability to prepare MIS reports, variance analyses, and financial summaries for management and clients.
• Candidates should possess strong communication and collaboration skills to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders, and to manage timelines and deliverables.
• Relevant qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field are preferred; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA Inter) will be an advantage.
• Prior experience in an accounting or CA firm environment, with responsibility for end-to-end accounts handling, will be highly beneficial.
