Job summary

Signode Industrial Group is seeking a Senior Accounts Executive to join the finance team in Hyderabad. The role focuses on accounting activities for Australia and New Zealand business units, ensuring accuracy in inter-company transactions and capital expenditure controls.

The candidate will maintain the fixed assets register, manage inventory accounting, and oversee leases, ensuring timely month-end closures and reconciliations.

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in Accounting or Finance, like M. Com / MBA (Finance).
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in a medium-to-large multinational company.
• Hands-on experience using ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Process inter-company transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain the Fixed Assets Register and support capital expenditure management.
• Manage inventory accounting, including analysis, stocktake reporting and related reconciliations.
• Oversee rentals and leases, including invoicing, job creation, acquisitions, disposals and query resolution.
• Prepare month-end journals for prepayments, accruals, depreciation and other recurring adjustments.
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and follow up on reconciling items
• Ensure all records comply with company policies.
• Assist with the monthly management accounts submission.
• Support annual statutory audits and internal audit requirements.
• Assist with the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets under the guidance of the Finance Manager.
• Provide backup coverage for the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams as required.

The Senior Accounts Executive will be a member of the finance team, responsible for supporting all accounting activities.

Core Accounting Responsibilities

• Process inter-company transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain the Fixed Assets Register and support capital expenditure management.
• Manage inventory accounting, including analysis, stocktake reporting and related reconciliations.
• Oversee rentals and leases, including invoicing, job creation, acquisitions, disposals and query resolution.
• Prepare month-end journals for prepayments, accruals, depreciation and other recurring adjustments.

Reporting, Forecasting and Audit Support
