Role & responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze day-to-day, monthly, and quarterly financial reports and statements to support business decision-making.
• Manage general ledger activities, including bank reconciliations, sub-ledger to GL reconciliation, and review of journal entries.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, including GST, tax filings, and audit requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors and support internal and external audit processes.
• Establish and maintain strong internal control systems to safeguard company assets and improve process efficiency.
• Oversee and maintain complete books of accounts, from daily accounting entries to finalization.
• Identify discrepancies, resolve accounting issues, and ensure data accuracy across financial records.
• Provide guidance, review work, and mentor junior accounting team members.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial operations.
