Job Title: Team Leader
Salary: ₹4.80 LPA to ₹6.00 LPA
Experience: 7 to 8 years (Mandatory, preferably in a CA Firm)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of accountants by assigning tasks, guiding them, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of all financial transactions including AP, AR, payroll, general ledger, GST, and TDS.
- Review financial statements, MIS reports, and reconciliations for accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and senior management to analyze financial data and support strategic decisions.
- Develop and implement accounting processes, internal controls, and best practices to improve financial operations.
- Conduct periodic audits of financial records and support statutory audits; identify discrepancies and ensure corrective actions.
- Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, GST, TDS, and Income Tax regulations.
- Train, mentor, and upskill team members to strengthen their accounting and compliance knowledge.
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities and provide insights based on financial trends.
- Ensure compliance with all internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical standards.
- Drive process automation and efficiencies to reduce manual work and improve accuracy.
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external auditors; provide required documentation and address audit observations.
- Work closely with finance and HR teams on payroll, tax filings, and employee benefits.
- Monitor key financial indicators, identify variances, and prepare management-level financial reports.
- Promote a collaborative and positive work environment with strong teamwork and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or related field.
- CA Final Dropout candidates are eligible to apply.
- 7–8 years of experience in accounting operations, preferably in a CA firm.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory audits.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally/ERP systems) and MS Excel.
