Job summary

PVH Corp. Bengaluru seeks a Senior Accountant to deliver high-quality accounting support including accruals, provisions, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting knowledge, analytical capabilities, and a proactive approach to process improvement. The role requires 5–8 years of accounting experience, a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, and professional certifications as a preference.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (required).
• CPA, CMA, CA or other advanced certifications preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/systems (e.g., SAP, Power BI).

Responsibilities

• Statutory reporting for local GAAP including roll-forward schedules.
• Prepare disclosures (PPE, commitments, accruals, prepayments) and notes to financial statements.
• Prepare audit schedules and support audits; ensure documentation.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts.
• Investigate reconciling items and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain adherence to internal controls (SOX) and PVH policies.
• Assist with quarter, month and year-end close as required.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Accountant role will focus on delivering high-quality accounting support in areas including accruals, provisions, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting knowledge, analytical capabilities, and a proactive approach to process improvement.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

Statutory reporting

• Preparation of local GAAP financial statements including roll forward schedules
• Preparation of disclosures including PPE, Commitments, accruals, prepayments and other notes to financial statement
• Prepare audit schedules for external and internal audits
• Support audit requests and ensure appropriate documentation is received by auditors
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts including equity accounts.
• Investigate reconciling items and coordinate timely resolution.
• Maintain adherence to internal control standards (SOX) and PVH corporate policies.
• CBS statistical information preparation
• Oversight on VAT compliance/ plastic tax
• Support income tax preparations
• Support on quarter, month and year end work as required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Direct: n/a

: Assist in the review of journal entries, reconciliations, and other deliverables prepared by junior accountants or analysts to ensure accuracy and compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience:

• 5-8 years of relevant accounting experience. ( statutory accounts preparation a plus)

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
• CPA, CMA, CA or other advanced certifications preferred.

Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).

Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles

Proficient in accounting systems and financial software such as SAP, Power BI, CoStar, etc.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
