Job summary

Growth For Impact in Pune seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to maintain books, post journals, manage AP/AR, and ensure statutory compliance with timely reporting. The role requires 5+ years of experience and a Masters in Finance and Accounting, with CA/CA-Inter preferred.

Proficiency in Tally Prime, Excel, and Outlook is essential for audits and MIS analyses. Coordinate with Head office and Head of Plant, uphold confidentiality, and support management with financial analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant roles.
• Preference for CA/CA-Inter candidates.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Proficiency with Tally Prime or similar accounting software.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Good analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts and record daily financial transactions.
• Prepare and post journal entries, invoices, receipts, payments, and other accounting documents.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Assist with GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory compliance.
• Support internal and external audits and provide required financial information.
• Ensure timely filing and maintenance of accounting and taxation records.
• Verify bills, vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents for accuracy.
• Assist management with financial analysis and MIS reports.
