Job summary

Krishnanand Infrastructure & Developers in Gujarat (Vapi) is hiring an experienced accountant to maintain day-to-day accounting records, manage GST and TDS compliance, and coordinate month-end closing. You will prepare ledgers, bank reconciliations and MIS reports, and ensure accurate financial records across sales, purchases, receipts and payments.

Qualifications

• 25 years of experience in accounting and finance.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation and basic statutory compliance.
• Hands-on experience in bookkeeping, bank reconciliation and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel and accounting software.
• Good understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable and general accounting principles.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records, including sales, purchases, receipts and payments.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Prepare and maintain ledgers, vouchers, journal entries and bank reconciliation statements.
• Manage GST-related activities, including data preparation, reconciliation and return filing coordination.
• Assist in TDS calculations, deductions, payments and return filing.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, MIS reports and expense reports.
• Monitor cash flow, maintain petty cash and track business expenses.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors and internal departments.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of financial records and compliance with applicable accounting and taxation regulations.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
