Job summary

Bazel International Ltd. in New Delhi, India seeks a finance professional to lead accounts finalisation, statutory compliance, and reconciliations for NBFC operations. The role requires CA Inter or CA/sem-qual with audit exposure, and strong Excel and Tally skills.

The candidate will oversee month-end closures, liaise with clients, and guide junior staff in AP/AR cycles while ensuring adherence to Ind AS and RBI guidelines.

Qualifications

• Education and professional background as stated: CA Inter (Group 1 or both groups cleared) or Semi-Qualified CA or B.Com graduate.
• Articleship or post-qualification experience in a mid-to-large CA firm handling audits.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Finalisation: Prepare, review, and finalise balance sheets, P&L, and cash flow statements.
• Statutory Compliance & Taxation: Manage GST, TDS, income tax filings and statutory audits.
• Reconciliations: Perform bank reconciliations, vendor ledger reconciliations, and inter-company adjustments.
• Client / Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients for queries.
• Team Guidance: Supervise junior accountants, review vouchers, oversee AP/AR cycles.
• Book Closure: Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing per Ind AS for NBFCs.
• Financial Finalisation: Prepare and review financial statements including Balance Sheets, P&L, and Cash Flows.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Accounts Finalisation: Prepare, review, and finalise balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
• Statutory Compliance & Taxation: Manage end-to-end filing, computation, and compliance for GST, TDS, income tax, and statutory audits.
• Reconciliations: Perform regular bank reconciliations (BRS), vendor ledger reconciliations, and inter-company adjustments.
• Client / Stakeholder Management: For firms, build and maintain working relationships with assigned corporate clients to handle day-to-day accounts and compliance queries.
• Team Guidance: Supervise junior accountants, review daily voucher entries, and oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) cycles.
• Book Closure: Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books of accounts according to Ind AS (Indian Accounting Standards) applicable to NBFCs.
• Financial Finalisation: Prepare and review financial statements, including Balance Sheets, P&L statements, and Cash Flow Statements.

Required Candidate Profile

• Education: CA Inter (Group 1 or both groups cleared) / Semi-Qualified CA. / B.com Graduate
• Mandatory Background: Articleship or post-qualification experience in a mid-to-large sized CA firm handling audits .
• Technical Skills:
