Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Senior Accountant role located in Mumbai. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing financial reporting, overseeing budgeting and forecasting, maintaining compliance with financial regulations, and supporting the preparation of audits and tax filings. Additionally, responsibilities include reconciling accounts, analyzing financial data, ensuring effective internal controls, and providing strategic insights to support business decisions.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualifications such as minimum B.Com or M.Com / MBA- Finance with 5-6 years experince.
• Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Advanced knowledge of accounting software and tools such Tally Prime, Advanced Excel for financial analysis
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills
• Understanding of financial regulations and compliances (such as GST, TDS & Income Tax)
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Ability to supervise and manage a team of accoutants (supervise, review, and approve all accounting entries), manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
• Experience in the shipping or logistics industry is a plus
