Job summary

Veritas Reputation PR in Mumbai invites applications for a Senior Accountant / Senior Accounts Executive to support daily finance operations, maintain records, and coordinate with internal teams and associates.

The role covers GST, TDS, PF, PT, payroll-related tasks, bank reconciliations, invoicing, MIS reporting, and general bookkeeping. 3 years or 7–10 years’ experience preferred in service firms or consulting, with Tally expertise.

Knowledge of Excel and strong analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
• Experience in a service industry or consulting firm is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Tally Accounting Software and GST, TDS, PF and Income Tax.

Responsibilities

• Record sales and purchase entries, cash and bank vouchers.
• Maintain ledgers and assist with general bookkeeping.
• Perform bank reconciliation statements.
• Assist with GST calculation, filing, and returns.
• Support TDS calculation, returns, and Income Tax filings.
• Coordinate for PF, PT, and statutory compliance requirements.
• Prepare invoices and manage billing processes.
• Assist in MIS preparation, attendance tracking, and salary computation.
• Track accounts payable and receivable.
• Maintain financial records and supporting documents.
• Prepare basic reports, charts, and summaries as required.
• Assist in payment processing and expense tracking.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and associate networks.

Designation: Accountant/Account Executive

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Operations

• Record sales and purchase entries, cash and bank vouchers.

Taxation & Compliance Support

• Assist with GST calculation, filing, and returns.
• Support TDS calculation, returns, and Income Tax filings.

Required Qualifications

• Up to 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in a service industry or consulting firm is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Tally Accounting Software.
• Basic understanding of GST, TDS, PF, PT, and Income Tax.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
• Good analytical and communication skills.

Education

• UG: B.Com (Commerce)
• PG (Preferred): M.Com
• Professional Qualification: CA or 7–10 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
