Job summary

Career Zone Recruiting in Pune seeks a qualified Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, taxation, and statutory compliance. You will prepare financial statements, manage GST, TDS, and payroll postings, and coordinate with auditors and banks.

The ideal candidate has M.Com and DTL (mandatory), with hands-on experience in Tally Prime/ERP and MS Excel, and can work independently to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Must have M.Com and DTL (Mandatory).
• Experience in day-to-day accounting, taxation and statutory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax and payroll processing.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Prepare journal entries, vouchers, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and file GST returns and ensure GST compliance.
• Handle TDS calculation, deduction, payment, and return filing.
• Assist in Income Tax compliance and statutory audits.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports and financial statements.
• Verify purchase, sales, and expense invoices.
• Maintain vendor and customer ledger reconciliations.
• Process payroll accounting entries and statutory deductions.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and banks.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Maintain proper financial records and documentation.
