Oprava Aesthetics Llp in Mumbai seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to manage accounting operations, statutory compliances, financial reporting, taxation, and MIS. The role requires strong analytical ability, excellent communication, and the capacity to lead junior staff while ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will supervise month-end closings, GST/TDS/Income Tax filings, payroll reconciliations, vendor payments, and create MIS dashboards to support strategic decisions.

Formación

• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in accounting, taxation and finance.
• Strong knowledge of statutory frameworks and compliance.
• Experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is a plus.

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage the company's accounting operations, statutory compliances, financial reporting, taxation, and MIS. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capability to lead junior accounting staff while ensuring compliance with applicable financial and tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Maintain accurate books of accounts in compliance with accounting standards.
• Finalize company and personal accounts.
• Handle month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
• Prepare periodic financial statements and reports.
• Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.

Taxation & Statutory Compliance

• Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, Professional Tax, and other statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Support and manage statutory, tax, and internal audits with minimal observations.

Accounts Management

• Supervise Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
• Review bank reconciliations and ensure timely closure of outstanding items.
• Oversee payroll accounting and related reconciliations.
• Streamline vendor payment processes to improve efficiency and compliance.

MIS & Financial Analysis

• Prepare MIS reports, financial dashboards, and management reports.
• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic business decisions.
• Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

Process Improvement

• Improve accounting processes to reduce month-end closing timelines.
• Strengthen internal financial controls and compliance mechanisms.
• Ensure accuracy and reliability of financial reporting.
• Implement best accounting practices for operational efficiency.

Team Management

• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
• Allocate work, monitor performance, and ensure timely completion of accounting activities.

• Strong knowledge of Proprietorship, Partnership, and LLP accounting.
• Good understanding of Income Tax laws, GST regulations, and other applicable legal and statutory frameworks.
