Job summary

Bridgexcel in Kolkata invites applications for a Senior Accountant & Payment Operations Lead with 4+ years' experience in NBFC/FinTech/Lending. The role covers accounting, payroll execution, banking ops, loan disbursements, gateway reconciliation and compliance.

You will manage GL entries, month-end close, tax filings (GST/TDs), 3-way bank-vs-gateway reconciliation, MIS reports and financial statements, and coordinate with banks, gateways, IT teams and auditors.

Qualifications

• Finance and accounting background with 4+ years in accounting, banking operations or payment operations.
• Experience in NBFC/FinTech/Lending is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems for financial processing.
• Knowledge of PF/ESI/PT/TDS and GST filings.
• Ability to handle 3-way bank, payment gateway, and LMS reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Manage GL accounting, journal entries, ledger scrutiny, AP/AR, and month-end closing.
• Execute salary payouts through NEFT/RTGS/CMS/banking portals.
• Handle PF, ESI, PT, TDS and GST compliance and filings.
• Manage loan disbursements, refunds, vendor payments and payment gateway transactions.
• Perform daily Bank vs Payment Gateway vs LMS 3-way reconciliation.
• Track failed, reversed, pending and disputed transactions and coordinate resolution.
• Prepare MIS, cash-flow reports, disbursement reports and financial statements.
• Coordinate with banks, payment gateways, IT/Tech teams and auditors.
• Maintain compliance with RBI/NBFC financial and accounting requirements.
• Maintain accounting records in Tally/ERP/Busy/SAP.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent.
• Experience: 4+ years in Accounting, Banking Operations & Payment Operations, preferably in NBFC/FinTech/Lending.
• Technical Skills: Advanced MS Excel, Tally/ERP, CMS, NEFT/RTGS and bulk payment processing.
• Domain Knowledge: PF, ESI, TDS, GST, Loan Accounting, Payment Gateways and 3-way reconciliation.
• Key Competencies: Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail, risk awareness, and ability to work independently.
