Job summary

IFF, a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients and health & biosciences, invites a qualified finance professional to join Global Business Services in Hyderabad (hybrid role). You will contribute to financial reporting, audits, tax compliance and internal controls, partnering with cross‑functional teams to drive efficiency and compliance.

Qualified CA/ICWA/CMA with 4+ years of experience or equivalent, strong SAP and Excel skills, and fluent English communication are essential.

• Qualified CA / ICWA / CMA with 4+ years of accounting and finance experience; or Semi-Qualified with 8+ years.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing practices, internal controls, and local regulations.
• Experience in financial reporting, audit coordination and tax compliance; proficient in SAP and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly reports, accruals, variance analyses, and local financial statements.
• Coordinate statutory and internal audits, maintain SOX documentation, and respond to audit inquiries.
• Monitor AP/AR and intercompany billing with SSC to ensure timely clearance of aged items.
• Support tax and Shared Services on tax provisioning, transfer pricing and related matters.
• Assist corporate secretarial and compliance activities and drive process improvements.

Where You’ll Make a Difference

• Prepare and analyze monthly reports, accruals, variance analyses, annual reports, local financial statements, and supporting schedules.
• Coordinate statutory and internal audits, maintain SOX documentation, perform control verification activities, and respond to audit queries, regulatory inquiries, and requests from local tax authorities.
• Monitor and coordinate Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and intercompany billing activities with the Shared Services Center to ensure timely review and clearance of aged items.
• Support tax and Shared Services teams on tax-related matters, including tax assessments, transfer pricing requirements, tax provisioning, and advance tax computations.
• Perform periodic reviews of aged balances across General Ledger accounts and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to resolve outstanding items in a timely manner.
• Manage and support corporate secretarial and compliance-related activities.
• Contribute to additional tasks, special projects, system testing, process improvements, and implementation initiatives as assigned.

What Makes You The Right Fit

• Qualified CA / ICWA / CMA with a minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting and finance experience; or Semi-Qualified (Inter completed) CA / ICWA / CMA with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing practices, internal controls, and local tax regulations.
• Experience in financial reporting, audit coordination, tax compliance, and General Ledger management.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with fluency in English.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to present financial information accurately and effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across finance, tax, Shared Services, and external partners.
