Job summary

Onusworks Software India is seeking a Senior SAP ABAP Consultant in Bangalore for a hybrid work model. The role focuses on designing, developing, testing, and implementing ABAP programs to meet client requirements, including RICEF components.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of ABAP experience, strong debugging skills, and hands-on work with SAP HANA and Fiori, CDS views, and integrations via RFC/BAPI. Collaboration with functional teams and thorough documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years SAP ABAP development experience.
• Proficiency in RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
• Strong knowledge of ABAP tools: Workbench, Data Dictionary, Debugger.
• Experience with User Exits, BADI, Enhancement Spots.
• Familiarity with SAP HANA and CDS views is a plus.
• Knowledge of OData and SAP Fiori development is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement SAP ABAP programs and solutions based on client requirements.
• Create technical specifications for reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and conversions (RICEF).
• Develop custom SAP modules, enhancements, and workflows using ABAP Workbench tools.
• Debug and troubleshoot SAP applications to resolve performance and functionality issues.
• Implement and maintain user exits, BADI, and enhancement frameworks.
• Develop and optimize ABAP code to improve system performance and efficiency.
• Create ALV reports and custom reports to meet user requirements.
• Handle data migration using BAPI, LSMW, and IDocs.
• Integrate SAP with third-party systems using RFC, BAPI, and Web Services.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to gather requirements and deliver tailored technical solutions.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Document development processes, technical designs, and end-user manuals.
• Provide post-implementation support and resolve technical issues.
• Stay updated with new SAP technologies and methodologies, such as SAP HANA and Fiori.

• Working Mode: Hybrid
• Working timings: 2pm to 11pm

Preferred candidate profile:

• Design, develop, test, and implement custom SAP ABAP programs and solutions based on client requirements.
• Create technical specifications for development objects such as reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and conversions (RICEF).
• Develop custom SAP modules, enhancements, and workflows using ABAP Workbench tools.
