State Street’s Alpha Services Client Reporting Team offers a full suite of reporting services required by the most sophisticated Investment Managers. We gather data from multiple sources internally and externally from - IBOR, ABOR, performance, market data vendors and client supplied data, which runs through a robust workflow to produce end client reports or provides insights via data visualization. We are a self-service report development team who has taken the initiative to meet the most complex reporting requirements for the entire bank.Individual in this role will participate in the design, development and support reporting and dashboard for State Street Alpha ServicesIndividual in this role will perform end to end Requirement analysis and support dashboards/reporting for State Street Investment Management Services.Expertise in analysis, design and implementation of reporting and visualization ( Dashboards) using BI suits like Jasper, Webfocus, Actuate, eSpreadsheet, etcExperience in working with large scale data warehouse solutions , data modeling and designing data martsExperience in data governess models and data quality implementation techniquesStrong knowledge of SQL and experience in query performance optimizationExperience working with complex data sets and implementing complex business logics to provide intelligence reporting solutions, perform data gap analysis on complex financial dataRequires intimate knowledge of Interactive Report Designer (IRD) and IBI WebFocusParticipate in projects in design, implementation and testing of dashboards/reports. Work with operations, client, and technology to deliver various projectsDevelop data and functional requirements and assist in the creation of related estimates and dashboards/reports using different source applicationsParticipate in information delivery and business intelligence strategy sessionsComplete data analysis, profiling, and data mappingsInterface with data experts, data sourcing resources and assist in the data validation process and write queriesAssist in the development the conceptual/logical data models with appropriate business contextsKnowledge in Big data platforms and cloud technologiesPerform data gap analysis on complex financial dataServe as a subject matter expert across the organization and assist users with adhoc dashboard/report construction queries and researching issues on existing data, query tools, and reportsEnsure project activity is customer focused, results oriented, performance driven, and in compliance with all applicable internal and external requirementsEmploy analytical, conceptual, and creative thinking skills to improve performanceSupport user training, documentation, and rolloutMaintain effective working relationships with organizational team and clientsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, MIS, Information Technology, or related field of studyDemonstrated excellence in business writing, development of business process flow diagrams, making comparisons regarding current and future processes, and effective communication8+ years of experience analyzing, designing, and developing reports and dashboards using BI toolsHands-on experience in data analysis and querying using the Snowflake cloud data platform, including writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, working with large structured and semi-structured datasets, and validating data qualityAbility to analyze query execution, troubleshoot data issues, and improve query performance and compute efficiency in SnowflakeFamiliarity in Snowflake concepts such as virtual warehouses, databases, schemas, roles, stages, views, and secure data accessExpertise in designing and developing reports and dashboards using BI suitsAbility to articulate basic project methodology concepts using either SDLC or AgileAbility to analyze entity-relationship diagrams and logical data models to validate design against requirementsAbility to write SQL code for strong data analysis through queries, data profiling, and data validation exercisesFamiliarity with financial reporting, business intelligence, and data warehousing principlesUnderstanding of BI/reporting tool architecture, functions, and featuresExcellent oral and written communication skills for diverse audiences with excellent facilitationAbout State Street: Work, Live and Grow.
