Job summary

BT International is seeking an experienced security operations professional to manage and administer network security technologies for BT and global customers from its Gurgaon 24x7 Global Security Operations Centre.

You will provide hands-on protection for customer infrastructure, triage and resolve security incidents, and drive proactive improvements while coordinating with global teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in operation and management of security infrastructure.
• 5-8 years of experience on listed products/technologies.
• Experience in global security operation environment and ITIL context is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24x7 security in-life support as part of the global SOC.
• Act as SME for technology & customer infrastructure network.
• Triage, review and implement security changes per policies and change control processes.
• Identify SIP opportunities for key clients and reduce incidents.
• Review code upgrades and test before production rollout.
• Handle reactive incident support via ServiceNow and meet SLA commitments.
• Adhere to change and incident management; participate in CAB for complex issues.
• Drive new product launches and technology training.
• Ensure timely communication and updates to stakeholders.
• Mentor colleagues and share knowledge across the team.

About the role

To manage and administer network security technologies for BT and its Global customers.
Customer facing role for security operational teams having hands-on experience on security product and support on IT Security based services to a specified group of external global/corporate customers encompassing Change and Incident Management, Customer services, enquiries, fault diagnosis/resolution and problem management.
Position is based out of Gurgaon 24x7 Global Security Operational Centre.

What you'll be doing

• Form an integral part of 24*7 rota to provide security in-life support
• Be a Subject Matter Expert for technology & customer infrastructure network
• Triage, Review, and implement security specific changes in line with Customer security policies and change control processes.
• Identifying areas of Service Improvement Program (SIP) for key clients and reducing incidents
• Review code upgrade and test implement before rolling on to production
• Review documentation Recognizes successful intrusions and compromises through review and analysis of relevant event detail information
• To provide reactive incident support via Service Now , attending customer troubleshooting calls, providing detailed analysis and fixing issues within contractual obligation and SLA
• Adhere to change and incident management process. Represent on CAB for complex technical issues
• Drive new product launches & technology training
• To ensure that all agreed communication, notification , updates are delivered in timely manner
• Mentoring and supporting collegues with knowledge sharing on issues, technology platform

Essential Skills / Experience

Hands-on experience in operation and management of security infrastructure.

5-8 years of experience on following products/technologies

• Knowledge and Hand on experience on Zscaler (ZIA,ZPA,ZDX,ZTB)
• Knowledge and handon experience on Firewalls (ASA, FTD, FMC, Palo Alto Next Gen Firewall)
• Implementation and operation support experience on NAC Solution (Cisco ISE and Aruba CPPM)
• Identity and access managent knowledge on OKTA,CyberArk
• IPS policy management, signature fine tuning.
• Knowledge of device health monitoring tools and systems
• Stakeholder management and ability to work under pressure
• Effective oral and written communication

Experience Required

• Experience of working in a global security operation environment, ticketing-tools like remedy, Service Now and exposure to ITIL processes in context of service operations is a plus
• Zscaler Certification
• CCSP//PCNSE/NSE4 preffered
• Professional Qualification such as B.E./B.Tech/MCA
• Diploma in a relevant field is Acceptable
