Job Description

• Monitor security technologies such as SIEM, Antivirus, Vulnerability management, Web Proxy, Security Patch management.
• Perform incident and event analysis.
• Respond to security incidents.
• Coordinate reporting and monitoring with business stakeholders.
• Research emerging security threats.
• Update SOPs and training materials.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Knowledge of SIEM tools like QROC, Arcsight, SPLUNK, or Sentinel.
• Understanding of PCs, LAN topologies, routers, hubs, terminal servers.
• Knowledge of security applications such as IDS, Security Event Management, and anomaly detection tools.
• Understanding of VPN technology.
• Experience with investigation tools like FTK Imager, memory dump, threat analysis tools.
• Ability to interpret network diagrams.
• Support for offices in the UK and provide guidance as needed.
• Translate event analysis into new monitoring strategies.
• Flexible with 24/7 shift schedules and task assignments.
