Job summary

Responsibilities

• Protect people and property from theft, damage, trespassing, and unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry and exit of employees, visitors, vehicles, and contractors.
• Check IDs, visitor passes, and deliveries where required.
• Patrol premises regularly and report suspicious activity.
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, and security systems as assigned.
• Respond to emergencies and follow emergency procedures.
• Maintain visitor and incident registers and prepare basic reports.
• Handover between shifts and communicate important incidents.

Job description

Protect people and property from theft, damage, trespassing, and unauthorized access. Monitor entry and exit of employees, visitors, vehicles, and contractors. Check ID cards, visitor passes, and deliveries where required. Patrol the premises regularly and report anything suspicious. Monitor CCTV cameras, alarms, and security systems if assigned. Maintain visitor and incident registers and prepare basic reports. Respond to emergencies, such as fire, accidents, medical incidents, or security threats. Follow emergency procedures and contact police, fire services, or management when necessary. Prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas. Report incidents promptly to supervisors or management. Maintain order and discipline within the assigned premises. Assist employees and visitors with basic security-related queries. Conduct handover/takeover duties between shifts and communicate important incidents. Follow company security policies and instructions at all times.
