Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in a Security Management role in a corporate environment.
• Strong commitment to safety, security, and customer care.
• Computer literacy with Word, Excel and Access.
• Professional diploma or certificate in Safety and Security.
• Advanced Resuscitation Certificate.
• Investigations qualification or experience desirable.
• Familiar with applicable laws and regulations.
• Ability to lead and coordinate security operations across departments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee security operations across the hotel to protect guests, associates and assets.
• Develop and implement Hotel Safety & Security procedures.
• Monitor CCTV and internal alarms; respond to incidents.
• Coordinate emergency management and incident reporting.
• Provide security support to all departments.
• Ensure compliance with company policy and procedures.
• Serve as Security and Safety Advisor to the General Manager.

The Security Manageris responsible to manage the department, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction,through planning, organizing, directing and controlling the housekeepingoperation and administration.

About the Role

To effectively and efficiently manage thesecurity function of the hotel so that its guests, associates, operations, andassets are protected and secure. The Security Manager positionserves as the Functional Head of the Hotel Security Department and isresponsible for all safety and security matters at the property. This position will serve as the Security andSafety Advisor to the General Manager and the hotel Leadership Committee forall security and safety related matters of the hotel.

Some r esponsibilities of this role include:

Security support to all departments across the Hotel

• Fire Safety – including patrols and hazard identification
• Employee and Asset Protection
• Maintenance of the Hotel’s Emergency Management Plan
• Development and implementation of various Hotel Safety & Security procedures
• Ensuring compliance with company policy and procedure
• Incident response, investigation and report writing
• Monitoring CCTV and internal alarms
• Providing proactive public security presence

We are seeking a disciplined and passionate individual with a minimum of 3 years experience in a Security Management role within a corporate environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to customer care, safety and security, be computer literate and possess strong administration skills.
