Qualifications

• Proficient in English; conversational Hindi.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic and surprise audits across locations.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and shrinkage trends.
• Investigate losses, theft, fraud, and stock discrepancies.
• Lead RCA and corrective action planning.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, security protocols, and compliance.
• Perform stock verification and variance analysis.
• Develop and implement loss prevention strategies.
• Review CCTV footage and security reports during investigations.
• Drive compliance awareness and training programs.
• Collaborate with Operations, Inventory, HR and Leadership.
• Prepare audit reports and management dashboards.
• Identify vulnerabilities and recommend preventive measures.

Role Description

DropX Logistics is hiring a Security & Loss Prevention (SLP) Officer with strong experience in Quick Commerce operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for minimizing inventory shrinkage, preventing fraud, conducting investigations, ensuring compliance, and strengthening security controls across operations.

Candidates must have prior experience in Security & Loss Prevention roles within leading Quick Commerce companies

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic and surprise audits across operational locations.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and identify shrinkage trends.
• Investigate inventory losses, theft, pilferage, stock discrepancies, and fraud incidents.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective action planning.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, security protocols, and compliance requirements.
• Perform stock verification, inventory reconciliation, and variance analysis.
• Develop and implement loss prevention strategies.
• Conduct fraud detection and risk assessment activities.
• Review CCTV footage and security reports during investigations.
• Drive compliance awareness and conduct training programs.
• Collaborate with Operations, Inventory, HR, and Leadership teams.
• Prepare audit reports, investigation findings, and management dashboards.
• Identify operational vulnerabilities and recommend preventive measures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Quick Commerce Security & Loss Prevention (SLP), Asset Protection, Risk Control, or Loss Prevention functions within Quick Commerce companies.
• Mandatory experience working in Quick Commerce Industry
• Strong understanding of inventory management and shrinkage control.
• Experience in audits, investigations, compliance monitoring, and fraud prevention.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Conversational proficiency in Hindi.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience handling multiple locations across regions.
• Certification or training in Security, Loss Prevention, Fraud Management, or Risk Management.
• Experience working with CCTV investigations and access control systems.
• Knowledge of inventory management platforms and audit tools.
