Job summary

Evonik Catalysts India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Security Guard for our Dombivli site. You will monitor day-to-day security, frisk workers, direct visitors, patrol the premises, and maintain water level records for production. Coordinate with Safety on emergencies and ensure strict adherence to ESH rules.

The role requires SSC with at least 5 years in plant security, proficiency with walkie-talkies, metal detectors, and megaphone, and vigilant incident reporting in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Minimum SSC with at least 5 years of security experience at plant level.
Proficiency in frisking and patrolling procedures.
Ability to operate walkie-talkie and metal detector.

Responsibilities

Frisk workers for restricted items entering the premises.
Prevent unauthorized removal of company property.
Direct visitors to the appropriate departments.
Take patrolling rounds and report abnormal activity immediately.
Maintain records of water level required for production.
Provide daily security reports to supervision.
Coordinate with Safety team during emergencies.
Inspect material inward and outward shipments.
Coordinate movement of factory vehicles.
Ensure compliance with ESH rules and incident reporting.
Participate in ESH training and hazard identifications.
Monitor water availability in tanks and arrange tanks if needed.
Adhere to PMC security duties per ECI guidelines.
Monitor area for reptiles/stray dogs and deter as needed.
Be prepared to respond to threats within the premises.

Purpose of the Position

To monitor day to day security administration activities and safeguard company property and assets.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for physical frisking of workers for carrying restricted/banned items by workers inside company premises.
Also ensure that there is no movement of company property out of the company premises without proper permission.
To accompany/ direct visitors to respective departments.
Take patrolling rounds and report to Associate Manager Security immediately if any abnormal activity is seen.
To keep record of incoming & consumption report of water level required for production.
Periodical, regular, daily reporting to Associate Manager Security.
Coordinate with Safety team in case of emergency.
Physical checking of material inward & outward.
Co-ordinate for smooth movement of factory cars & incoming or outgoing Vehicles.
Ensure compliance with ESH rules and regulations.
Ensure incidents are reported timely and follow up on actions.
Participate in various ESH activities such as training, hazard identification, plant round etc.
Water Availability in the Tanks and order the water tanks if needed
To adhere to the security duties at PMC department as per ECI guidelines.
Responsible for monitoring the area and ensuring it remains free of reptiles and stray dogs by safely deterring them as needed.
To maintain vigilance and be prepared to effectively respond to threats and (potential terrorist-like situations) within the company premises & vicinity.
