Job summary

Linxon in Chennai, India is hiring a Security Engineer for Vulnerability Management with 2–4 years of hands-on VAPT experience across web, mobile, API, cloud, and networks. You will perform manual and automated testing, validate findings, and craft remediation guidance for cross-functional teams.

Candidates should be familiar with OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK, ISO 27001/NIST, and possess scripting skills in Python or Shell.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or related field.
• 2–4 years of hands-on VAPT experience with web, mobile, API, cloud and network environments.
• Familiar with OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK, ISO/NIST standards and cloud security basics.
• Hands-on with security assessment tools and scripting basics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across web, API, mobile, networks and cloud.
• Perform manual and automated security testing, validate findings, and assess business impact.
• Prepare technical and executive remediation reports and support cross-functional remediation.
• Assist Red/ Purple team activities and security reviews as needed.

Experience in Identifying, assessing, and validating security vulnerabilities across “Web application, API, mobile application, networks, cloud environments and operating systems.
