Job summary

Srmap in Bengaluru is seeking a security-focused professional to perform VAPT across web, API, mobile, and cloud environments, triaging findings into prioritized issues. You will monitor threat activity in the Americas and conduct HUMINT/OSINT collection linked to prospects and customers, while developing automation to streamline research and reporting.

You will also help create client deliverables, translate technical findings into business impact, and contribute to product strategy discussions

Qualifications

• Interest in cybersecurity, threat intelligence or security research.
• Working knowledge of VAPT in at least two areas: web, API, mobile or cloud.
• Familiarity with CVEs, IOCs, TTPs, exposed credentials, attack surface management, OSINT and HUMINT.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting on live calls.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field in progress or recently completed.

Responsibilities

• Perform VAPT across web, API, mobile, and cloud; triage findings into prioritized issues.

• Research exposed credentials, misconfigurations, and leaked assets; assess impact and validate risks.
• Assist in creating client deliverables such as trial summaries, disclosure reports, and security impact summaries.
• Communicate findings clearly on calls with prospects, translating technical details into business impact.
• Support competitive and market research on threat intelligence and cybersecurity vendors.
• Contribute to product strategy discussions on detection use cases and roadmap priorities.

About You

The company is looking for:

• Strong interest in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, or security research
• Working knowledge of VAPT methodology in at least two areas: web, API, mobile, or cloud
• Familiarity with CVEs, IOCs, TTPs, exposed credentials, attack surface management, OSINT, and HUMINT
• Ability to read technical documentation and write clear explanationsStrong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting on live calls
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
