Job summary

Copeland is seeking a Security Analyst in Pune (Hybrid) to strengthen the Global Cybersecurity Team. You will monitor security tools, identify vulnerabilities, and drive remediation across on-premises and cloud environments.

The role involves collaborating with IT, cloud, and development teams to mitigate risks and improve vulnerability management processes. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in vulnerability assessment or cybersecurity, hands-on experience with scanning tools, and familiarity

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, or cybersecurity.
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools and remediation processes.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure & AWS)
• Knowledge of networking, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and application security.
• Experience with vulnerability frameworks (NIST, CVSS, etc.)
• Some experience with programming or scripting and familiarity with DevSecOps practices.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security tools and dashboards to identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and recommend compensating controls to reduce risk.
• Evaluate security risks across on-premises infrastructure, cloud environments, applications, and enterprise systems.
• Communicate findings to appropriate teams and track remediation through closure.
• Create detailed vulnerability reports for technical teams and summaries for management.
• Collaborate with IT, cloud, and development teams to prioritize and remediate security vulnerabilities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of vulnerability management processes and tools.
• Stay current on emerging threats and industry best practices to strengthen Copeland's cybersecurity posture.
