Job summary

Rohde & Schwarz Bengaluru invites a Network Engineer to manage and optimise WAN & Firewall infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations across locations. The role includes scripting for automation, documenting network setups, and evaluating new technologies to improve services.

The candidate will advise internal teams on firewall requirements, work with ServiceNow and Jira, and contribute to the deployment of advanced networking solutions within an ITIL-aligned environment.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of Aruba Edge Connect / Arista & CheckPoint Firewall infrastructure.
• In-depth understanding and experience in managing and optimising WAN & Firewall infrastructure.
• Understanding of secure network architectures.
• Experience in documentation and monitoring of enterprise networks, including IPAM, network diagrams and monitoring tools.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with GitOps methodologies.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and Jira.
• 4–8 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
