Job summary

Rohde & Schwarz (China) Technology Co., Ltd. Bengaluru team seeks a network professional to manage WAN and firewall infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations across locations.

You will evaluate new technologies, automate routine tasks with Python and YAML, and advise internal customers on specific network requirements. You will also contribute to the introduction of innovative solutions and keep documentation up to date.

Responsibilities

• Manage and configure WAN & Firewall infrastructure to ensure smooth network operations at locations, keep documentation up to date.
• Ensure effective and reliable IT network so all systems function optimally.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve network services.
• Support automation of tasks through scripting (Python, YAML).
• Advise internal customers on specific network & firewall requirements and develop customized solutions.
• Involve in introduction of new technologies and solutions.

Job description

• Management and configuration: you will manage and configure the WAN & Firewall infrastructure and ensure smooth network operations at the locations with the WAN & Firewall hardware, software, operating systems and applications and ensure that the documentation is always up to date.
• IT Network: You ensure effective and reliable IT network to ensure that all systems are functioning optimally.
• Technology evaluation: You evaluate and implement new technologies to continuously improve our network services.
• Automation: You will support the automation of tasks through scripting (Python, YAML).
• Customer consulting: If required, you will advise our internal customers on specific network & firewall requirements and develop customised solutions.
• Technology introduction: You will be involved in the introduction of new technologies and solutions.
