Job summary

Copeland, a global climate technologies company, seeks a System Engineer to design condensing units and sanitary water heating systems, and to perform performance simulations across HVACR systems.

Role involves BOM management, setting design standards, and coordinating with labs and proto facilities to advance NPD and localization while driving cost reduction. Strong CAD skills and English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 7-12 years of experience in product design and development.
• Experience in refrigeration, HVAC, condensing units, compressors, or thermal systems preferred.
• Proficiency in UG NX, SolidWorks, or similar 3D CAD software.
• Familiarity with PLM systems and chang e processes.
• Understanding of refrigeration cycle fundamentals and component selection.

Responsibilities

• System design for condensing units, sanitary water heating systems.
• Performance Simulation of systems.
• Component inventory, study, comparison- innovative selection.
• Bill of material choosing compressors, condensers, fan motors, controls, pressure vessels, and refrigeration components.
• Develop & set system design standards.
• Facilitate with stakeholders such as plants, product marketing and costing.
• Coordinate with labs & proto facility to troubleshoot design to execute project activities.
• Drive Cost reduction, value engineering, and localization projects.
• Work In Plant support actions for NPD, localization.
