Job summary

SYSTRA is seeking a Section Engineer-IDS-1 for a site assignment in India. The role involves assisting in design reviews, installation, integration, testing and commissioning of IDS, interfacing IDS with other systems, and supporting payments and approvals for the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail project.

The candidate should have an Engineering degree (B.E/B.Tech) or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics, with 7 years (B.E/B.Tech) or 10 years (Diploma) of experience in implementing Optical Fiber

Qualifications

• Engineering Graduate (B.E/B.Tech)/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics stream or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist design review of IDS.
• Assist installation, integration, testing & commissioning of IDS.
• Interface IDS with other systems and approve interface documents.
• Verify completed work and prepare payment requests to contractors.
• Assist NHSRCL in obtaining statutory approvals.
• Coordinate with agencies for project completion.
• Perform other roles as assigned by PD and Client(NHSRCL).

Missions/Main Duties

• Assist in design review of IDS.
• Assist in installation, Integration, Testing & Commissioning of IDS.
• Assist in interfacing of IDS with other systems (as applicable) and Interface document approval.
• Assist in verifying completed work and prepare request for payment to contractors.
• Assist NHSRCL in obtaining statutory approvals. (as applicable)
• Assist and coordinate with various agencies i.e. ISA, CMRS etc. for successful completion of the project.
• Assist in any other roles and responsibilities required to be performed to complete the project and assigned by PD and Client(NHSRCL).

Profile/Skills

Min. Qualification:

Engineering Graduate (B.E/B.Tech)/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics stream or equivalent.

Experience

Engineering Graduate with overall 07 years, or Engineering Diploma with overall 10 years of experience in implementation of Optical Fiber based systems.
