Job summary

Balaji Railroad Systems Pvt Ltd is seeking a seasoned Civil Engineer with essential railway project experience to oversee construction and review design drawings for large public infrastructure contracts.

The role requires hands-on execution, site supervision, and adherence to quality and safety standards, with reporting to senior sector engineers and project leadership. Prior exposure to rail projects and related procedures is expected to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum experience of 5 years or Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum experience 8 years in execution of public building/ railway infrastructure projects.
• At least 3 years’ experience in SSE or equivalent Grade and above of Civil Engineering department of Railways and/or as AM and above in Civil Engineering department in RITES/ IRCON/ RVNL or equivalent grade in Konkan Railway/MRVC/ DFCCIL/ any JVs or SPVs with Ministry of Railways.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in construction of Civil Engineering works and review design/drawings for Civil Engineering contracts.
• Responsible for construction, planning, monitoring progress of Civil work, supervising and ensuring compliance of quality and safety standards at work sites.
• Develop work procedures, handle billing/measurement, check all construction and related activities for the assigned jurisdiction.

Job Description
