Job summary

Tata Technologies Ltd. in Pune invites experienced engineers for a Walk-in Recruitment Drive on Saturday, 31st Oct, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The event screens profiles, conducts technical interviews, tool assessments, and HR discussions at the venue.

Openings target 5–17 years in automotive seating systems design, leading programs, delivering engineering solutions, CAE/DFMEA, PLM release, BOM creation, and interface management to meet cost and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5-17 yrs in automotive seating design and development.
• Open to candidates in Pune with relevant domain expertise.
• Willingness to lead design programs and interface with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Design expertise for complete seating systems including components and trims.
• Lead programs, provide engineering solutions during design and feasibility checks.
• Create concept designs, master sections, and macro feasibility in styling.
• Deliver projects from kick-off to release including CAE, DFMEA, DVPR, and QFD.
• Prepare BOMs, master sections, and interface documentation for robustness.
• Finalize mounting strategies and ensure quality targets are met.
• Release management in PLM (TCUA/TCE/Modular BOM).
• Support D&T & Stack-up, change management, and PPAP documentation.
• Coordinate design reviews and cross-functional collaboration from start to launch.
• Engage with suppliers for reviews, releases, and performance improvements.
• Contribute to weight optimization, cost targets, and VAVE activities.

Job Location: Pune

• Design expertise of Automotive Seating Systems (Complete Seat, Seat trims, Seat structures).
• Lead the complete program and Providing engineering solution during design of components aggregates engineering feasibility checks.
• Creating Engineering Concept design, master sections, macro feasibility during styling stage
• Project delivery related to engineering and design from kick off to implementation including QFD, benchmarking, feature analysis, engineering, drawing and model preparation and release, CAE, and validation support, DFMEA and DVP.
• Preparation of Bill of Material in Seating systems .
• Creating master sections of Seating and Restraints parts with interface to meet craftsmanship requirements.
• Finalizing mounting strategy of Seat parts with interface parts to meet robustness and other performance and Quality targets.
• Release Management in PLM TCUA/TCE/Modular BOM.
• Should support on D&T & Stack-up, Change Management, DFMEA, DVPR, ATR, CAE
• Should aware and support of PQP & PPAP Documentation - PFC, PFMEA, CP, QP, SOP.
• Participation / Lead in Design Reviews/CFT meeting/DFMEA etc.
• Co-ordinate with all relevant internal as well as external agencies for design and development throughout the project viz. from project initiations up to launch support.
• Support on VAVE, weight optimization, quality improvements and deliver as per given target of cost.
• Interactions with suppliers along with design reviews, release activities, etc,
• 3D modelling in surfacing as well as solid. Generating 2D drawings,3D annotation etc.
