Job summary

BMW KUN Exclusive in Chennai seeks an SEO Specialist to optimize our digital presence for the luxury automotive sector. You will develop and execute SEO strategies to boost brand and model visibility, driving qualified traffic to our dealerships.

Collaborate with content, media, and web teams on on-page, technical, and local SEO; monitor performance with GA, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs; stay ahead of trends and ensure fast, mobile-friendly pages that convert.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience as an SEO Specialist in automotive/retail sectors.
• Strong knowledge of SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz.
• Hands-on experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, custom dealership platforms).
• Understanding of technical SEO, schema markup, site speed, crawlability, and indexation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research aligned with automobile trends and consumer search behavior.
• Perform on-page and off-page SEO optimizations, including meta tags, structure, internal linking, images, and technical audits.
• Develop and execute content strategies with content/media teams for high-value topics.
• Monitor and report website performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs.
• Optimize local SEO for dealership outlets to improve local search visibility.
• Collaborate with web developers on site structure, speed, mobile-friendliness, and schema.
• Stay updated with SEO trends and Google algorithm updates.
• Implement backlink strategies to improve domain authority and referral traffic.
• Coordinate with paid media teams to align SEO and SEM efforts.
• Provide UX and CRO improvement recommendations.

We are seeking a data-driven and experienced SEO Specialist to optimize our digital presence and enhance organic search visibility across search engines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective SEO strategies tailored to the automobile industry, driving qualified traffic, and improving rankings for our brand, models, and dealership services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough keyword research aligned with automobile trends, models, and consumer search behavior.
• Perform on-page and off-page SEO optimizations, including meta tags, content structure, internal linking, image optimization, and technical SEO audits.
• Develop and execute effective content strategies in collaboration with content and media teams, focusing on high-value automobile-related topics.
• Monitor, analyze, and report website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.
• Optimize local SEO for dealership outlets to improve visibility in "near me" and local search results.
• Collaborate with web developers to ensure proper website structure, fast load speed, mobile-friendliness, and schema implementation.
• Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and automobile industry shifts.
• Implement backlink strategies to improve domain authority and referral traffic.
• Work closely with paid media teams to ensure SEO and SEM efforts are aligned.
• Provide recommendations to improve user experience (UX) and conversion rate optimization (CRO).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience as an SEO Specialist, preferably in the automobile, retail, or related sectors.
• Strong knowledge of SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.
• Hands-on experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, custom dealership platforms).
• Solid understanding of technical SEO, schema markup, site speed optimization, crawlability, and indexation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in managing SEO for multi-location businesses is a plus.
