Job summary

PAIX Services is seeking an experienced Medical Coder specializing in SDS and General Surgery coding in Chennai. The role requires auditing and accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifiers within US healthcare guidelines.

Candidates should have 4–8 years of SDS/General Surgery coding experience, with CPT/ICD-10-CM/HCPCS proficiency. CPC/ CCS/ COC certification is preferred. Immediate/joining period: ASAP.

Qualifications

• 4 - 8 years of experience in SDS / General Surgery Coding.
• Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and Modifiers.
• CPC, CCS, COC, or equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience in US Healthcare Medical Coding.

Responsibilities

• Perform coding for SDS, General Surgery, and Anesthesia specialties.
• Assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and Modifier codes.
• Review operative reports and physician documentation.
• Ensure compliance with AAPC, AHIMA, CMS, and payer guidelines.
• Maintain coding accuracy, productivity, and TAT.
• Support denial prevention and coding quality initiatives.
