Paix Services in Chennai seeks experienced medical coder specializing in SDS, General Surgery and Anesthesia coding. You will perform coding for SDS, General Surgery and Anesthesia, review operative reports, ensure compliance with guidelines, maintain quality and productivity, and support denial prevention.

We require 4-8 years of experience, CPT/ICD-10-CM/HCPCS knowledge, CPC/CCS/COC preferred, and US healthcare coding experience. Immediate / 15 Days notice period.

Qualificações

• 4–8 years of SDS/General Surgery/Anesthesia coding experience.
• Strong CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS and modifiers knowledge.
• US healthcare medical coding experience; CPC/CCS/COC preferred

Job Description:

We are hiring experienced in SDS / General Surgery and Anesthesia coding. Candidates with strong auditing experience in surgical coding domains are preferred.

• Candidates for SDS / General Surgery / Anesthesia must have experience across all surgery series (1 - 6)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform coding for SDS, General Surgery, and Anesthesia specialties.
• Assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and Modifier codes.
• Review operative reports and physician documentation.
• Ensure compliance with AAPC, AHIMA, CMS, and payer guidelines.
• Maintain coding accuracy, productivity, and TAT.
• Support denial prevention and coding quality initiatives

Required Skills:

• 4 - 8 years of experience in SDS / General Surgery / Anesthesia Coding.
• Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and Modifiers.

• Experience in US Healthcare Medical Coding.
